Karen Martin Campbell, Foundation President 2020-2022

Karen gave her first gift to the Delta Zeta Foundation through the Rose Tree at National Convention in 1981, and she has continued her commitment to Delta Zeta ever since. Karen’s Delta Zeta involvement has spanned serving as a chapter advisory board member, College Chapter Director, Regional Collegiate Director, Alumnae President, Past National Officer and Foundation President.

“Charity begins at home,” Karen said. “Gifts to the Foundation’s general fund, member development fund and scholarships stay within Delta Zeta for projects and programs to benefit our members directly, now and in the future.”

Karen and her husband, Pete, named Delta Zeta as a beneficiary in their family trust to support the Member Development Fund. Their commitment of $1M is a truly transformative gift for Delta Zeta and helped the Foundation exceed its fundraising goal during the To Walk TRULY in the Light of the Flame campaign.

As a member of the Oxford Society, Karen hopes that her estate gift will keep Delta Zeta strong and relevant for years to come.
